Q. Tracy,
I have seen some fabulous deals on shoes. What are some styles that will carry forward into the seasons to come that I can buy on sale now?
A. Boots! They have been a must-have for at least 4 years now, and I don’t see them going anywhere but up (pun intended) anytime soon. Tailored is your best bet. Riding boots are a perfect pick and so are mid-heel classic styles. Keep it shorter for pants and tall for skirts and dresses. Nothing too trendy or edgy, and black and brown, of course, are your best friends. Here are a few of my picks. But hurry! They won’t be around forever, you know.

Looking for trend boot to wear with leggings. Problem being that I have a wide calf and boots I’ve tried don’t go over this area. Any suggestions?
Hi Susan, I would recomend the below boot styles that should accomodate a wider calf, the Steven Intyce http://www.shoes.com/Shopping/Results.aspx?N=0&Ntk=SearchInterface&Ntt=steven+intyce&Ntx=mode%2Bmatchallany&Nty=1 or the Bronx Linus in the tall slouch style: http://www.shoes.com/Shopping/Results.aspx?N=0&Ntk=SearchInterface&Ntt=bronx+linus&Ntx=mode%2Bmatchallany&Nty=1
