I get a lot of questions from friends, family, & co-workers on what is the best style of pump to wear right now, and truthfully – anything goes, it just depends on your preference and style! From pointy-toes, round-toes, Platforms, kitten-heels, leather, patent, or prints – it all works, so just find what’s right for you and work those pumps at work!
If you’re looking for a comfortable, yet stylish pump that will take you from day to night, my top pick would be the Calvin Klein Dolly. The CK Dolly comes in an array of colors/materials and has a comfortable flex bottom with a built-in gel insert for extra cushioning. Plus, in the basic colors, it comes in Narrows & Wides. A cousin to the Dolly is the Calvin Klein Diema, which has the same great gel-insert, but is offered on a kitten heel.

To add a little more flair to your work wardrobe, one of my favorite pumps is the Amaya from Lauren by Ralph Lauren. This is a classic pump you can’t go wrong with and I happen to love the Brown Croco Patent colorway – it just seems so Ralph Lauren to me! For a lower-heeled version, try the Lauren by Ralph Lauren Tappi, especially in the classic Polo Tan color.

If you like to live on the wild side, but need to dress professionally at work, the below styles are sure to spice up your work wardrobe. I love the Christa by AK Anne Klein for it’s sexy curves and the Guess Carrie for it’s sophisticated tailored stacked wood heel. both come in a variety of fun colors & prints, but for some reason I love the Relish Red patent color for the Christa and the Carrie in Leopard.

If platforms are your thing, then I would recommend pumps by Jessica Simpson or BCBGeneration. I love the Jessica Simpson Parigi for it’s “almond” toe shape and it comes in basic colors, as well as fun fashion colors for Fall. For a round-toe platform, I would suggest the Jessica Simpson Michaela platform pump. Both styles look great with jeans for going out, yet you can also wear them to office (just be sure to keep a pair of flats at your desk for lunchtime errands)!
